  • 4 slices bread and vegan butter/spread (our favourite is Naturli)
  • 4 slices vegan ham slices (eg Quorn, VBites, Tofurky)
  • 4 slices vegan cheese (eg Violife, Applewood, Daiya, Tofutti, supermarket own-brands)
  • Salad of your choice: tomatoes, lettuce, cucumber, spinach, grated carrot (optional)
  • 4 tbsp hummus or vegan mayo (eg Follow Your Heart, Hellmann’s, Leon, Plamil, Biona, Geo, supermarket own-brands… check out the chilled and dry free-from sections)


  1. Spread out the buttered bread onto a clean surface or plate.
  2. Divide all the ingredients between the two sandwiches and top off with the hummus or mayo.
