Easy fresh peas

The simplest way to enjoy fresh peas from the pod! Peas are a member of the protein-rich pulse family (along with beans and lentils) so add a big mixed salad with a sprinkling of toasted nuts or seeds for a quick and healthy lunch or side dish.
Ingredients:
- 20 pea pods
- 1 tsp vegan margarine
- Salt and pepper
- NB: Also good with a bit of mint sauce!
Method:
1. Remove the peas from the pods as shown in the step-by-step picture.
2. Steam them for one to two minutes, then serve with vegan marg melted through and salt and pepper to taste.
