 Energy Balls

These provide a healthier alternative to flapjacks, which are often laden with margarine or oil. Two of these little balls will sustain you until your next meal! You can also substitute the nuts with seeds - sunflower, sesame or pumpkin are all good - just use the same quantity.

Ingredients: 

  • 50g/2oz raisins
  • 50g/2oz figs
  • 50g/2oz dried apricots - preferably unsulphured
  • 50g/2oz almonds or cashews Dessicated coconut for rolling

Method: 

1. Grind up nuts and put aside.

2. Blend or process other ingredients.

3. Mix nuts and dried fruits together to make 12 small balls.

4. Eat two at a time as a snack.
